Easy and Simple Troubleshooting Tips





What is the very first thing that you should do when you trouble shoot your computer? The first thing that anyone should do when troubleshooting a computer that is still working with an OS is to restart the computer. Once you restart the computer the computer will reload all the programs in its cache and will in some cases fix any conflicts of software.

The next thing to do is to check all connections as your computer restarts. Check not only the power but also things like mice and other hardware that may be connected to your system. It is also a good idea to disconnect all external devices from your computer while you do some of these troubleshooting steps. Disconnect all USB drives and external sources of storage. Check the computer for unusual sounds. Also check to see if there are heating issues with the computer. There are normal noises that a computer makes, check to see if there are any hissing noises. If there are any abnormal noises then immediately turn off your computer. Also make sure that you switch of your computer if you experience heating issues.

Start the computer normally and start a virus scan. Most of the time viruses affect software and hardware. If you are unable to load the computer in normal mode, run it in safe mode. If the problem began after installing a program then you can uninstall the program and run your computer. for many software issues system restore is a good option that is provided on most window platforms. If you are experiencing intermittent issues even after fixing some minor issues then you should also consider reworking the strategy by reversing your steps to when and how the program started. In most cases it will lead you to the root of the problem. Remember that a problem once identified is half solved.
