How to Add Drop Caps in Paragraphs in Word 2007?



        While writing a document, you can utilize the feature to add drop caps in paragraphs in Word 2007. If you add drop caps in paragraphs in Word 2007, it will add emphasis to the text. Drop caps are the huge letters at the start of a document as well as the start of every paragraph. If you add drop caps in paragraphs in Word 2007, they will make your document look very elegant and stylish.

        In order to add drop caps in paragraphs in Word 2007, you will have to do the following:

            * Click on the Insert tab.

        You will see the Drop cap dialog box. Here you can modify the position, lines to drop as well as the font for the Drop Cap.

        The drop cap setting is drop by three lines by default. As you add drop cap to a paragraph, the font does not change. You can select a font for the drop cap as well as the font of the rest of the document from this dialog box so that it matches the drop cap.
